Introduction :

Ophthalmology department at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Medical College, Rajnandgaon provides UG teaching to students admitted to above college. It also gives training to Interns and Junior residents posted in the department. In addition to this, it also gives training to Ophthalmic Assistants posted in the department. Department is actively involved in treating patients with ophthalmic diseases at OPD. Department runs various speciality clinics such as Glaucoma Clinic, Retina Clinic, Paediatric Ophthalmology Clinic, Oculoplasty Clinic. Apart from treating patients, it also organizes various disability camps & issues Disability Certificates.
